I know but it pisses me off that a piece of shit like the FIT has a kit and no one has made one for us yet I would think that they would see more CL kits then FIT
Marketing 101 know your demographic People buying the cheapest car there is (Honda FIT) are not going to spend money on it. People buying a 2 door Acura on the other hand probably want to do performance a restyling. Look at the Integra (the cheep mans CL) how kits do they sell for those things and this may be an assumption but your typical CL driver probably has more money than an Integra driver, and way more than a fit driver.
So I state this again
Why the F#*k would they make a Kit for a FIT and not a CL (the stupidity of body kit manufacturers is mind boggling)

x2 - the Cl's lack of aftermarket support has always been due to being an unpopular, low number production car ---
A man can make money on support for the CL if he is the only business providing the product...
For a big company its just not interesting enough ($$$ wise) to take the time to R&D a product and put something out there in the market on the chance it might sell well.
All that said, id buy a poly, id have to weigh on the fiberglass before i made the choice to get one...

Not sure...but whatever it is would be a custom application.
So how much money and time do you got are the only two main things to consider.![2 Cents](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/2cents.gif)
There are others...can't advertise them on here.
But...I will tell you that for the CL.
None of the other ones matter.
This is the spot for the mass majority of CL owners.
Other sites...really have no activity for our model.
Trust me on this.

I'm in for poly.
Ummmm just a thought.........if this guy is willing to "mass produce" a lip specifically for the 2nd gen CL, then why are you guys calling it a TL lip? I mean I know he sells the TL lip but if he's going to make a CL lip why not call it that lol

Hey I tried, here's the response...
hi,
polyurethane is manufacture in large quantities and is a different process all together
we would only be able to make it in fiberglass
I will look into forum link

you know, i bet this guy has researched and has found this forum. I'm sure numerous people have asked him about his lip kits... The cars shown in his TL pictures are actually members of this forum. LMAO... He's just beating around the bush, and giving you the answer, "no, i'm lazy and i want to make money fast and not costly"... good effort man!!!

Hi,
I just looked at the comments some of this guys are putting up...
I would like to expand my answer from last email,
poly is nice but no one will ever make it here in Canada or the USA , especially for some aftermarket product only few would buy
companies that make it such as Wings West have been around since begging of this industry and have large budgets and manufacturing facilities in Asia
to produce poly kit is expensive and requires machinery on a large scale....
as far as CL lip kit
I been wanting to make a kit for a long time for this Acura model
the CL in my view is a far nicer looking car the TL ( no disrespect to TL owners)
I be willing to make the kit and sale it for $350 complete
I don't need no group buy, only a car to work with
if you like the kit then you can buy it
I seen some company making the TL Mugen spoiler and can't figure out why it's take so long or why guys would line up for some product that is not even made
to conclude this long email, it's been my view that some people get on forums only to make negative comments on products they have never purchase themselves
this has keep people like me from coming to offer any products that can manufacture
I don't mind people stating facts but don't like other adding piles of BS on top without proof
Regards
Sam
I guess he was referring to the people saying that he was just some guy trying to make a "quick buck" in the last part. But if there is still anyone willing to do it I'd still be down to by one in fiberglass as long as the fitment is good

beggars cant be choosers. If you want a lip kit for the CL seems as tho it will have to be fiberglass or custom made. If you get the fiberglass one just dont hit shit. Plain and simple LOL. And if you do hit something the cost to get that particular peice brand new in fiberglass will be around the same price as fixing the scratched or cracked or scraped poly peice.
