tl/cl mirror question
My little brother was playing around and ripping off my rear view mirror in my 2002 TL (the factory autodimming one)
When i was wiring it back, I noticed it had 3 wires, I'm curious as to what the 3rd wire is for? (white, grey, black wires)

The schematic in the HELM manual shows that
Black is GROUND
Green/Black connects to the Reverse relay
Yellow is power
I don’t understand why the colors are different then what you say. Maybe the TL is different.
I’m guessing that maybe the AUTO-DIM disengages when REVERSE is selected.
I’ve never noticed this myself, but I can’t think of any other reason.
