These are mounted on 2001 CLS Wheels (17x7) and inflated to 43.5 PSI (checked once a month). They've been cross-rotated twice every 7.5k miles and has never seen the track (autoX or drag). I'll repost when they reach 30k miles.

I put these same tires on my CL-S at 3K, now at 12K, rotated at 9K, they have been superb in all respects. Wet - Dry - Snow - Cornering - Nice Ride - all for $73 each. If they would last even be half worn at 15k it would still be worth it. I think the key with these is correct vehicle alignment & balancing (especially if anyone has lowered their car...) from the start.

By the way....Ive been running 34psi all around in the winter and around 36 in the warmer months. Seems like a good tradeoff between comfort and handling, especially with the CT Spring setup. Anything over 40 psi seems too high considering the low profile of the tires. Acura recommends 34 psi all around for stock sized tires on the CL-S

Where is my super sauce?
I just had my car inspected this weekend (PA requirement) and they measured my HTR+ to have a 7/32" tread in the front and a 6/32" in rear. I just rotated the tires last week so the former fronts are just slightly more worn then the rears. I've rotated twice at about 5K miles and have about 10-11K miles on them now.
This is with 235/45-17 mounted on a 17x7.5" rim and running 37psi. They come with a 11/32" tread from the specs listed on their site.
I'd say it's wearing a bit fast for a 360 UTOG rated tire (like others have posted before). I'll recheck periodically and see if the wear is linear (implying that I'm about 1/2 done) or not.

Anything under 70% of max PSI measured COLD is considered UNDER INFLATED.
43.5 is 85% of 51...so to me, I'm on the sweet spot.
To those that think 43.5 is TOO high...well...the whole point of this thread is to show proof that @ 85% of max, I'm getting even wear. If you are running 34 PSI on a tire that has a max value of 51 then you're in trouble, but on stocks however, underinflation starts @ 29 PSI.

I've been creeping up on my psi since edgalang's post about what Sumitomo said about pressure in their tire. I was running 34, then went up to 36, then 36.5, now 37. I've noted improvement in driving response with the increase in psi. I'll probably continue to creep up until about 40psi and see what I like. My wear is pretty even too.

I have the HTRZ II 225/45WR17 and finally reached 36psi. Time to up it a bit more, thanks a lot. Did you mention the weight of our cars to Sumitomo? I could not get an answer from them or tirerack about inflation.

Maybe you should call them about the HTRZIIs

uummmmmm, have you noticed the 'Max pressure' warning on the Sumi's sidewall ??? You guy realize that we go through these PSi threads every once in a while and , at the risk of putting on my flame-retardant suit -- I'm sure you all know that if the OEM Michelins are replaced with a stock (or very close to stock...) size & type, then you must follow the Acura recommended cold tire inflation number , as indicated on the doorjamb & owners manual. If you ask Sumitomo what psi you should be running they can't tell you unless they know the vehicle make, model, year, etc... That;s why 34 psi/cold for a '03 CL-S is correct as a starting point. Let the
begin !!!

I have these same tires, and Tirerack called me the day after they were delivered to me to tell me that considering these are not "extra Load" tires, they should be kept @ 35 PSI, and they knew the year/make/model of my car, 2001 CLS. I have been happy with mine so far, excellent rain traction, good dry traction. I have put about 2-3k miles on them so far.
