Tire question

I've got the CL-P with those crappy 205/60/ZR16 Michelin MXV4 Energy's on. I want to put on better tires but at that size there's not many options. I'm considering putting on 55 series tires instead of the stock 60 which would decrease the overall diameter of the tire and throw my speedometer and odometer off. What else could possibly go wrong. If I'm just throwing my speedometer/odometer off I don't really care as long as nothing huge goes wrong.

Thanks for the input

Here is an URL you can go to and find out how various tire sizes will effect your speedo.

I just switched my CL-P rims to chrome CL-S rims and put on 215.50.17's Dunlop Sport 5000s. This only threw the odometer off something like 80 miles every 10000 miles. SO that's not to bad. But I would def. look at getting these tires you will love them. Go with the asymmetrical 205-55-16 or if you want a little better handing they make 225-55-16's which I had on my Alero with 6.5" rims and they worked miracles.

I know that this change will affect my speedometer and odometer, but is there anything else that can really go wrong?

If not I'll probably go ahead and change the tire cause the 205/55/ZR16 that I am looking at are Pilot Sports and they'll make a huge difference.

Yeah def. go with the 225-55-16's they are awesome tires you will love them and also by putting that size on you odometer will actaully read 33 miles below for every 10000 miles you drive. Go with them you'll love em. Speak to tirerack.com guys first about load size and see what they set you up with and then ask about these.
