tire pressure
tire pressure
has anyone seen the affects of having lower tire pressure changing the gas mileage?? The only reason I ask is b/c since i've lowered the front tires pressure from 48 to 32, car calls for 32, tire calls for like 46 I think. this tire pressure issue is the only thing I can tie my recent loss of mpg to go down by like 3-5 mpg, any thoughts??
It not recommended to put the pressure so high when the car recommends 32 all around. Also high psi will lead to reaching the max limits of the psi that is dictaded on the tire sidewall when traveling at HWY speeds which can place the tire at risk. Hwy speed will always raise the psi by 3-4 compare to the cold temp psi.
