That is just crazy as hell.
Big truck tires have over 100lbs of pressure in them, but they are made to have that much.

As Brian Fellows would say "Das Crazy".

Who would hold the air pump there that long and not check the pressure?

yup that's a bit high ---- if in fact that's an actual reading (meaning correct --- meaning accurate...) I say this because I don't trust the gas jockey guys to know how to accurately check tire pressures. If his gauge was messed up or if its not used properly I've seen someone check their pressure and say: "man , I need air, I only got 2 in there" actually he had twenty but thought it was two looking at the gauge...etcetcetc

Wow, I missed those "good old fashion" services from gas station. Here in Califronia I am just happy if that guy say, thank you for coming and have a nice day.

That's why you should check your tire pressures YOURSELF on a regular basis and before you start on any trip of significant distance.

I once left my air pump on a Kumho ECSTA 711 in my previous car, and got on the phone and walked into the house, came out later after realizing what I had done, and the pump had shut it self off, and the tire pressure was at 60 PSI's, never had any trouble though.

Makes me feel better now.

My Conti says 44psi. But I went with 50 psi all around and it runs fine. I do not push my car hard and alot of my driving is neighborhood driving with some freeway.

When I checked my tires, they were all around 30. These are new tires put in about 2 months ago. I dount the tire shops pump them up to the correct psi to start with.

But 90!! Dang!
