Tinting Question for You!

Seriously thinking about getting 35% tint. Questions after I visited the only tint place listed in the yellow pages around.

1) Is Llumar tint any good?
2) It was only warranteed for 2 years - this is unacceptable right?
3) It was only going to cost $99 - you get what you pay for and I would not get much for a $99 tint job right?
4) If they are not listed in the book, how do I find good tint places?
Thanks in advance.

Yellow pages. That's what I did I called several places and visited them to check out the tint material. I payed 230 to get all windows tinted plus the sun roof 5% to get rid of the glare on the navi.

Guys,

What kind of warranty against bubbling and color change did you get?

I got a lifetime warranty against bubbling and discoloration on my film. If anything happens they will replace it for free. The base tint was $110 for the five windows (20% back three 35% front two) but i upgraded to somekind of 3m film i believe, for $135. Looks great except for the fact that my friend's snowboard scratched the back window but other than that i love it and strongly recommend getting it done for looks and the cooler interior.

So it sounds like the top end stuff has the lifetime warranty - the bargain basement stuff does not.

Any other words of wisdom?

Pushing this back up to the top before I shutdown for the evening - West Coasters, I would appreciate your input.
