tint question

I was wondering if the defroster ruins or shortens the life of the tint on the rear windshield?

not something i would worry about. if you have decent film, it will be fine.

It shouldn’t be a problem.
I’ve had every car I’ve owned since 1985 tinted and I never had a problem with the tint OR the defroster.
Just be sure to go to a reputable place to have it done.
