I have an '02 CL-S.. A/T...56k...AEM CAI..B&M Trans-cooler..awaiting UR underdrive pulley set ...ive seen guys talk about getting a larger throttle body...can you fellas give me a quick education on getting a larger throttle body for my CL-S?...the cost...hp gains....if I would have to purchase any other equipment...whats the best one out there...like..most bang for the buck..etc etc...

From what i read on this forum it not worth getting. Theres more to it than just port and polishing your TB. I think your also going to have to do the upper and lower intake manafold and take out the VSA. And you wont see much of a gain unless you have a turbo of SC or 3.5 from what i remember. But i'll let some one else chime in with more details.
I think you better off getting headers, TB spacers and cooling mods

 

i would make this one of the last few mods you do...what i mean is exhaust all others first

 

Expect to see a gain of 1whp. Not saying it's bad, but it's the more reasonable answer based of previous dyno's with NA imports with basic mods. (not including muscle cars, I think they get ridiculous gains when they do pretty much anything).

 

Thank you fellas...i appreciate any and all comments/suggestions etc...i think my next mod(s) would be headers...and then a tc...wow..tc kits are mucho expensive..i hear conflicting reports about tsautochrome headers..great price..but...bolts come stripped right from the manufacturer..fit issues..etc..and the tc kits come with headers...anymore comments/suggestions out there???...hellloooooooo???
