Throttle body coolant bypass
Would there be anything to gain during our hot summer months? Cooler intake air temp perhaps? This coolant line runs in series with the "tranny cooler". Anyone?

what I will do is I will install a bypass in parallel with the regular line. With a simple valve you can shut off the regular line and enable the bypass ( in the hot weather ). In the wiinter, the valve can be in the off position and it would regular line will function like stock.
This is the mode I will consider if I will do the Thermal Block from outlaw engineering.
Nashua.

I never looked at it as being a performance modification and actually agree with what was stated in that article. However, I'm not in an area which I have to worry about freezing and with the other changes I was making it saved time in not re-routing hoses.
