Thoughts about S2000

Had to spend some time at a nearby Honda dealer recently and they had an 01 S2000 on the floor; metallic gray with red interior. Awesome looking car and the 6spd sure felt great. Priced just under MSRP since its been there a while. Just curious what your thoughts are on this car; anyone drive one or know someone who has one???How was it? thx

I owned one for 3 months. Very Fast and a lot of fun--Very small- no luggage room--crummy radio---heat from engine seeps into passenger compartment- hot enough to be uncomfortable--handles great except if there is any moisture then it's dangerous unles you're a pro--electrical power steering was unique--great brakes--seats were comfortable--Fun yet totally impractical--

Test drove one in the Florida Keys (Largo Honda). power sucks in the low end great above 6k rpm. When it gets up it really goes. Fun as a second car. Totally impractical as a daily drive. Radio sucks, but it was a fun test drive. I went by myself!! heh heh heh!!

i think it is not as comfortable and not as luxury as cls...interior is soso only...the digital speed meter does not attract me...i prefer the traditional type....and maybe it is convertible..and rwd... my buddy has one.. a cool sport car.. i like my cls better
