I was at a body shop yesterday getting an estimate for some body work i need to have done. Anyways, while my estimate was being processed i stopped in a sound system store and talked to guy about throwing some subs and an amp in the trunk. I thought i wanted a 15" JL powered by a nice amp. He told me that i was most likely going to over power the rest of my system which would cause tons of extra bass. Which is not what I want. he suggested 2 10" JL's powered by a Lanzar Optil amp. Its called the SL100. It would put out about 190 watts per sub. he told me with installation he would do it for around $700. I'm not very knowledgable on car audio. So i was wondering if you guys have any advice for me. is this a good deal? Does anyone have a similar set up to this one? and how does it sound? I'm aiming just to make the whole system louder, maybe some extra bass but not to where you can't hear the song. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, he's probably right, I think my current set up rockford 250a2 plus a single jl10w6 is overpowering the stock system.
