Those of you trying to sell your CL.....

...don't complain about the resale value or the lack of it. About this time last year, I was getting worried about this and I was told by more than a few people:

1.You don't know what you are talking about, or
2.I purchased my car for the car itself, not for the value in reselling it, or
3.If I'm so worried, why don't I get rid of my car now (it was 5 months old then) and spare myself months, perhaps years of agony over resale value, or
4.The CL will hold it's value. It's an Acura.
5.I like my car being the only car of its type on the road. It's doesn't mean no one wants it, it means I'm unique.

Now the posts are starting to come it. If not now, pretty soon I suspect.
"I can't sell my car at a decent price."
"Nobody wants to buy my car, I don't understand this. I know there aren't any on the road but that doesn't mean nobody wants them."
"How do I get out this car without losing so much...."
"I know the dealership will give you the low price anyway, but why so low?"

I don't want to say this on everyone's post, legitimate people who are asking for legitimate help; so I won't.
But I'll just say it here one time, get it out, and forget about it. I knew this was going to happen. TL-S, RSX. Where's the archive containing my old posts on this topic? :p

I guess I am lucky. I traded my CL-P with 5100 miles for a TL-S today. I only had the CL for almost 5 months. The dealer gave me 24,000 for the trade and I paid $29,600 for the TL-S non-nav with wheel locks and mud guards. It depends which part of the country you live in and the color of the car.

I feel ya, I am just glad I bought my car and plan on keeping it at least another 4 years. After that as long as I get around 10k for it I am fine. Shit, even if I get 7k then that will be fine also. I didn't buy this car thinking I would sell it in a few years but I understand not everyone works the way I dot. Good look to you guys that have to trade.

Me too me too! I was also worried about resale value once the TL-S comes out.
