? for those of you with navi

i was wondering if the navigation/dvd thingy allows you to play dvds if you took out the navigation dvd ... i dont have one and i have only been able to play with a navigation setup in a TL for like ... 2 mins ... but i was just wondering

To amplify:

You can add some vendor supplied goodies (see previous post/link).

Simply replacing the DVD that is used by the NAV with a "regular" DVD would not work -- and the "mods" required to do a NAVI conversion.

So, hit the links and get something that is already sorted out. It will basically talk to the LCD display screen and will leave your unit in the back alone.

You should be able to switch between movies and/or other video source and NAVI with ease.

Oh, and no watching DVDs while OK?
