For those of you with Comptech exhaust...
#2
Exhaust systems have been talked about a lot on this board.....run a search....but honestly imo I don't see how an exhaust system is worth the 6 bills considering it only gives 1-2 HP (Maybe?)....When you're lookin to upgrade parts of the engine..I would think you're going for power...and the CL-S exhaust already provides for almost maximum output.....so I would save those 6 bills for somethin more useful..just my thoughts

It would be hard to justify as the first mod to get, for sure. But if you've got most of the other essentials (headers, springs, sways) the Comptech exhaust is a nice finishing touch.
The sound is not excessively loud. It's makes a nice, low burble at low RPMs and doesn't at all sound or look...uh...fartpipeish, if you know what I mean.
The tips are 3 1/2" wide across the outer diameter, and what I like best about the look is the tips are thick and sturdy-looking.
Overall, it's a nice mod that adds a bit of class to the rear end and gives a nice sound. It's hard to argue that it's worth the six bills, but there are certainly other axle-back exhausts available that are more expensive as well.
