My deal was super great, but there was a problem that I just corrected: damn wheel gap with the 18" 235's was huge, like 3.5" in the front and 3" in the rear. I guess the Acura dealer liked that look. I just spent $300 and lowered the car with a set of Eibachs...now my gap is very minimal and the car looks more like a "pocket rocket" low slung red racer with the chrome wheels, etc.

April 2004 purchased my wife a 2001 CL-P Blue 44,000 miles for $15K in a private sale Williamstown SOUTH Jersey. The P had the S 17"rims and a painted to match dealer installed spoiler. It came with stock 16" rims and 80% tread rubber (perfect for Blazzacks!) I ditched the Mitch and went with 17" Kuhomos -

Silver 2001 with 29K miles, navi, certified, extended warranty, just off of a lease. All records. Out the door price was 23K (Taxes, tags, everything.) That was August of last year.

Got my Silver 2001 CLS w/ navi and 64K miles from a Mercedes Dealer in July 03 for $15,250 plus tax and license. Car is in great shape although I had to replace the tires. I went with Yokos which I love.

Hmm i tink prices in NJ might be in the higher end of the market. Im looking at around 17K for an 01' cl-type s without navi, 25k milkes, with navi the lowest ive seen is 18,2K w/ 23k miles. Not alot of 02's in my area also, saw one silver 02' type-s with 25k miles but asking was 19k, are these numbers reasonable , what do you guys think/recommend

bought my 01 CL-S w/o navi back in Sept '03 for $23K w/ 39K miles on it. I feel like I got raped knowing other people paid less for the '01 with less miles. still love her, though.

well i am still shopping
all i have to say is kansas sucks
just got quoted $25K on a 2001 cl-s w/nav 25,ooo miles, had tan leather so not really what i wanted but still
and this is after waiting forever for a blue or black one with black interior to come in the area
and when i say area i mean less than 500 miles away
but i am glad i read this thread, i was given the wrong impression about an acura "certified" car

Yeah, I could have gotten an '03 6spd had I known better. I thought since it was used, I could get a deal on it. I keep seeing people getting 03's for the same price I paid for my 01. Yeah, it would be too much neg equity to trade it now unless you start paying in big chunks. No tranny issues here either.
