For those with Silblades: how are they working in the cold?

I've noticed that when I clean my windshield during the colder days that I get some chatter with the wipers, especially during the first few swipes. I'm assuming that this is because the blades are cold and more rigid/stiff. It takes some time before the soften up with increased cabin temperature.

It's kind of a catch-22: my windshield gets dirtier when it's cold out (shit on the road from snowplows, etc). I hardly use them when it's warm apart from rain.

The siliconized Silblades are supposed to have better temperature tolerances.

Have any of you with them had them in sub-freezing temperatures? Reviews?

I just ordered mine online. I know JasonT has them on his ride. I will write up a review when I receive the product.

Yeah I have them, but there's no cold weather in south FL. I will be driving up to NYC for Christmas, so I will see how they work.
