$260.83 w/ the bypass valve. I have no idea if there is any cutting involved. I am getting mine in the mail from autocarparts today!

Sweet. Thats not a bad price at all. I just hope that it performs for the CL-S like it did for my Civic Si. It made the Vtec sound soooo awesome and I got much better top end. Post your opinions on the install and performance

i have it! i just installed it two days ago...pretty easy didnt jack car didnt even completly remove splash gaurd...last nite i did cut it to install bypass BUT... i decided i like the factory throttle boot so i cut enought to install boot and bypass looks better in my opinion...i may still try to figure out away to put back in the bottom part of the filter box but i think it would require cutting off the mounting bracket on the aem

The CAI is made specifically for the CL-S and no cutting is involved unless you want to add the bypass valve. Not much low RPM sound but once you get into VTEC range, DAYUM!!!!

I don't plan on trying to fjord the Sacramento River so do I really need the Bypass Valve? The rain isn't too bad here in Nor Cal...

Good point, Ash. I got the CAI without the bypass. Let's take a stand as Sacramento CL owners and agree not to try fjording the Sacramento or American rivers.

OK, sounds good! I think I am just gonna order one and tell the woman it was $12 and make one of my car buddies install it.

Sounds like I don't need the bypass.

thx,

Dont cut the mounting bracket or you would regret. Just install the filter end of the AEM first then install the bottom of the filter box, then connect the AEM together at the bypass valse. Simple as that.

i tried but because the box want to attach to the same part as the aem i cant seem to get it to work...why not cut off bracket???and i was trying to use that rubber flange in the box thought that would be enough support???
