Thinking of trading the CL, need opinions

I've been thinking of trading in the CL the past couple weeks now, just couldn't pull the trigger. What I really want is the FX35, but around here those things go for crazy money, so I've all but ruled those out now. I have 68,000 miles on my car and owe a little bit more than trade in value, not much though. What do you think of getting into an 04 G35 Coupe (nav, aero, loaded) with 45,000 miles for roughly $24K, a payment about $75 more a month? I love my cl, but there are a couple things that annoy me. Thanks for the opinions.

one of my friends just traded his 4 door stock family style cicvic in for a g35 coupe evry option. They handed him a 2000 dollar check plus what ever was left over was put down on the car i think 3500 and he is paying 435. To me thats a sick deal and its a rediculous car. He is leasing it on a 24 month lease. You could probably get a nice dollar for the cl plus they will cut you a check to mod it lol Anyways just thought this might help

I shopped the G coupe and think it is by far, the best looking coupe out there, I don't blame you for wanting one, but I preferred the overall package of the CL 6MT's shifter, refinement, better quality, practicality (trunk and back seat), features, and price.
If I had an automatic CLS it would be an easier decision to give up a CL for the G.

I actually just got back from a test drive of a 2001 Jaguar XJR, and WOW! Its a bit of a different direction than G or CL, but it is an absolutely amazing vechile, and priced right too. I may be buying that.

Historically, yes, but from what I've read, the newer ones are much more reliable than the older ones. Extended warranty.

The G35 was out of my range, whe I was shopping, had to settle for a 03 CL 6MT, the front wheel drive annoys me the most. Other wise no problems with the car. The G35 should be more maint and gas compared to the CL though.

You could easily toss those out the window if you like whipping the tail out once in a while. =)

Give the G35 a test drive and see if you like the feel.

Other wise the RX-8 is kinda in the same category, but lacking in lux. and power.

Stick with the G35 if you must trade your CL. The Jag will have problems and the don't hold trade in value nearly as well as they used now that Ford produces it.
Do some research.

Definitely go with RWD, 6 cly. coupes. A 350Z, or G36C if you can get a good deal

My buddy just picked up the A4 3.0 6 speed, very nice car. I'm definetly sick of front wheel drive though. There are so many options its tough to decide.
