Thinking of selling my baby...

I am thinking of selling the 2001 CL-P, and instead get a sportbike and commuter car. Is this a wise decision or not? Would it be worth it to have say, an Accord or similarly priced car and spend the rest of the money on a Bike like a Honda CBR600, or Yamaha YZF 600? Dilemma here.

On one hand, I want the bike, since it's always easy to park, great mileage, faster than anything on four wheels that costs less than $200K, and the new Accord coupes are nice.

But...I will have to part with the beloved CL which I have grown so accustomed to. Any thoughts if you were in my position?

My friend's dad always had a sports car.. Nissan 300ZX, Mitsu 3000GT, Mazda RX-7... finally he gave up on those, got a Honda bike and a Civic EX coupe. It seemed to work for him. Separate the fun from the practical without trying to make one vehicle do both.

Not to burst your bubble, but I think if you sell your 2001 CL-P, you might not have enough left over to buy the new Accord, let alone a bike too.
Aren’t they going to be in the HIGH 20’s plus?

Yea, the EX V-6 starts aroudn $26k. And considering it's specs are even better than the CL-P (not type S) it's quite a deal (I'm not sure about self moving mirrors though hehe). 240 horsies are more than enough for me, 225 was more than enough in the CL.

The 160 hp version starts at a $19k, but I *DO* want ABS so I'd probably opt for the EX. Why do I not need the extra 80 horsies? If I need speed - I would opt for the bike. But I don't know...I might just stick with the CL for now.
