only a small part of my hood needs to be repainted due to the stone hit...so i am going to paint some certain part only..so is that good? i mean the color match..or should i keep the original factory paint? would the repaint job quality worse than the stock paint?? thank u..need advice........

the days of the factory paint being the best you could get are long gone...just like laqure...paint hood and blend clear just like mr.service saidOriginally posted by Type S:

Don't paint PART of the hood. If you're going to a paint shop anyways, you might as well paint the whole hood it is less work than "blending" and it may be less than you thought. I would paint the whole hood and blend to the fenders. If the car is not very old it may not need much blending anyways. Just make sure you go to a good shop with quality work and a WARANTEE.
