Thinking about painting my roadlamp pillars...

since paint shops use equipment to match paint as perfectly as possible, u think it's worth paying them for these rather small pillars vs. trying to match the paint myself and risk messing up???

with a red car... yes. you need to perfectly match for it to look right.

metallic and light cars have a bit more flexibility.

anything looks as tho it matches on silver. heh

agree w/ above statements. Red is a tough color to match perfectly.

But if you really want to save the money and do it yourself, I recommend purchasing the spray paint from Tower Paint. Just give them the color code on your door pillar and they'll mix up a spray can for you that matches the Acura Paint.

Also make sure you get a good flexible primer. Call those guys at Tower Paint, and they'll recommend something for you.

And above all...if you want to take this task on by yourself...BE PATIENT! can't stress enough about how important it is to let the paint cure correctly and to do very light coats.
