Red face Thermoblok Spacer Disaster!!!

So I get the package, take everything apart. And the throttle body spacer holes do not even alighn, By like a half inch. Called and left message to outlaw engineering and e-mail awaiting some good news..... He better hook it up with one that fits regaurdless. But the lower intake manifold spacer fit. Ok

So Installing it all back on and now the car idel's up and down, also its running rich. What to do. Do I reset ECU and let idel for 3 minutes??? I was gonna do that but didnt.

Then snaped a bolt to the plenium right off. So now theres a whistle from the top of the plenium.

I did plug everything back in...

I did clean everything with throttle body cleaner...

Do I reset ECU and let idel for 3 minutes???

Wheres is our mass airflow sensor? Is that the sensor next to the throttle body?

Thanks

fix the vacuum leak :p

Also, we don't have a MAF sensor, we run off the IAT and MAP sensor.

the bolt you snapped is causing a vacuum leak which is why your idle is doing that.

get in touch with outlaw, they will hook you up with what you need, their good guys.

The studs and bolts do not get torqued very high. There should be no way to snap a bolt if you do it right. Check the specs and do not overtorque.

why would you install it if that parts don't fit correctly?

Lower intake manifold spacer fit. TB spacer did not. Reading the whole thread helps sometimes. Thanks for the input though.
