I remember back in the 80s and early 90s "they" were stealing t-tops from vettes, z28s etc. They were creating their own market by stealing so many that people were buying them to replace the ones that were stolen.

Sounds like the same crap to me.

the reason they sound stolen to me is I think (i don't know exact amount) new HID headlights run like 1500-1600 bucks and he only wants like 250 bucks. I don't think unless he's either REALLY hard up for money or he's need's space BAD. Personally I wouldn't buy them they sound "too hot" for me.
y'all we're speaking about people that "create their own market for things. We used to have a car dealership(used car dealership) he ran a car theft ring where (i'm dead serious) the person would buy the car(which was usually "hot" (but they we're skeaky they'd replace the dash area on the car which has the VIN number with a "junkyard car or truck") then once they sold it they'd get the person's information on where they work, where they live stuff like that) then they'd turn around STEAL IT back put a coat of paint on it and do that dash deal and switch out VIN numbers and sell it again. now that whole gang in the state pen grabbing his ankles

yeah the owner of the thread (the thief) prob. deleted it. My guess is he got either worried someone might investigate him, or he simply thought no one would buy his stuff because of the accusational posts.
