There goes the rear end...

I went to eat at a restaurant with my friends, and I was backing up into a spot. I didn't see the high curb, and the next thing I heard was a loud crunch noise. I got out to inspect the damages, and my rear bumper and body kit piece are scraped to shit, and my entire exhaust system is sitting crooked and pushed in about a foot.

And I can hear the down pipes hitting something every time I start the car. The exhaust system sounds mean as hell now, though. :gheywave:

I guess it's time for a Comptech catback system. Yippee...

That stinks... Can't imagine what the repair costs are going to be seeing it's more than cosmetic.

Ha, I just washed my car, and saw an area about the size of 3 quarters missing paint on the front bumper. Add that to the dented hood and the chipped passenger side front fender.

My car is in complete shit condition right now. Man, I am so ticked off.

Sorry to hear about that. I too backed up to a parking spot at night and the concrete stopper was really far forward and pushed the Comptechs a little. In my case it is only cosmetic.

I have the worst luck with this car. This is only half the whole story.

I love the car and all, but I can't keep spending money to fix stuff like this. I mean, the exhaust system was my fault, but most of the other damages were not.

I feel your pain. A few months ago I was parallel parking against a wall and I swung in just a tad too close, scraped the whole passenger side of the rear bumper.

Then last night I'm the first car stopped at a light minding my own business, and I hear this loud noise. No idea what happened, then the light went green and I made my left and then turned into a self serve carwash because I thought something hit me. Apparently the car that made a left in front of me while I was stopped at the light threw a beer bottle out the window, and it exploded on my fender. Broken glass all over the hood and big dent in the fender, with paint missing.

Anyone ever get a fender painted and replaced? Cost?
