they dont have the chip in them so it wouldnt work to start our cars, is there anyway to put like an old legend ignition that didnt need the coded keys to make one of these work? or override the need for the chipped keys in our ignition

 

probably, but why? Seems like a lot of effort just to change the style of the key.

Now if you bypassed the chip mechanism (which I believe cuts off the fuel pump). You could probably just use the key in the stock ignition. If it fits.

I'm not 100% sure on how our alarm works. Never seen a schematic.

 

i dont know how worth it it would be but that key is damn cool
