Cool Is there any interest in a detailed cl type s audio thread?

I have been delving really deep into my 2003 cl type s's bose audio system. I have figured out numerous things as well as discovered the wire colors for the amplifier as well as the stereo wiring harness. I can explain how to integrate the steering wheel controls with a new audio system and what part to buy. I can tell how to integrate a new stereo and keep the bose speakers and amp as well as how to put in a whole new system. I am going with a Rockford fosgate pbr300x4 amplifier due to it's small size and ability to fit seamlessly into the original amplifiers location. I am also replacing the bose 6x9 speakers with rockford 6x9's and the front component speakers with rockford 6.5 components with tweeters. I have no problem doing a detailed thread so that if someone like me is doing something similar the have a much easier time and all the resources they will need but I just want to make sure there is some interest. Also I found a way to make a custom stereo wiring harness by using a standard honda one and putting in the extra pins needed for our system, this will allow you to refrain from cutting any wires in the stereo. I believe the same can be done with the amplifier so I could explain how to make a plug and play upgrade system. Anywhoo let me know if there is any second gen cl owners who have any use for any of this.

Finding out how to integrate the steering wheel audio controls with my Avic head unit would be fantastic! I bought the axxess steering wheel control adapter, but all the wires gave me a headache.

How to upgrade the speakers/amp would be a great bit of info.

its definately possible to integrate amplifier wiring into the stock bose harness. Im running all stock bose everything with 2 kicker cvr 12s running off a kicker 1000.1 amp.....problem was the speakers couldnt get high enough for my subs at first.....i use pandora for everything so I simply installed a volume booster on my smartphone......those stock bose speakers stay loud and clear up to 180% on the booster without distorting...am glad the 03 has tweaters too......I say write it up. the amp pinout is on this forum somewhere. its how I found which wires were which.

Okay as soon as my stuff gets here I will do a write up then. I just wasnt sure if it would have any value for anyone and dont worry Adam it only takes like 10 minutes to wire up the axcess kit. The pac audio one is crap though and I would stay away from it.
