i too want to keep my car for a good four years. it's already been two years and i am coming up on 75K miles. i think i want to wait and see how good some cars just coming out now do before i start looking at cars and getting amped and my heart set on something.

good luck with all, Todd.

Nice Buy Good luck with it even though I dont like Red Cars and of course I am biased to the CL Type S. I was wondering what offset are the on the wheels and if anyone knew where I could get a set for a good price.

VIPCLS - 03 6MT has body colored grille and door handles, different tail lights, different wheels, no "road lamps", and LSD (no not acid). I think I covered everything...
Appreciate it brother!!

Looks good, man...congrats!!

Now faux-wood trim the hell out of the interior so you can ball like us CL-Parchment guys!! Seriously, I might consider buying the black dash pieces to replace the darker tan plastic pieces in mine (hate the mis-matched tan/parchment in the CL). Your interior looks pretty hawt! I like that tan and black combo.

^ Thanks, man. Yeah, the different tones of tan threw me off in the CL-S6 I test drove. I like the Accord parchment much better because of the black.

I was the opposite... I didn't like the black upper dash with beige lower... That's one of the reasons why I got my CL, I wanted the SMR w/ beige/parchment... Different strokes for different folks...

But I almost waited for the Accord 6mt to come out, but decided to get the CLS instead... but that was when the cars were new...

If I were looking at a used 03 CL 6spd vs. a 03 Accord 6MT, I think it would be a hard decision between the two...

Nice choice, love the exterior color, and at least you've got a manny tranny car now

I test drove the car and pretty much knew instantly that I would be just as happy with an Accord 6mt as a CL-S6,
Came across this site last summer when I was almost tempted into buying a CL, then found out about the problem with the automatic transmission, so I set out to look for a good clean 2003 CL-S 6MT.

I looked on and off for almost 8 months before coming to the conclusion there just isn't a clean one with reasonable mileage in the area, there was one very clean one at an independent dealership that I thought was the one I'm going to buy, but then quickly realized it had been in an accident, the front bumper has been repainted, the driver side front fender replaced (no VIN sticker), the rear quarter panel repainted also, the worst was to find two slight depressions on the driver door that looked like Bondo that had shrunk.......

It was at that point I decided to give up the search, and started looking at an Accord V6 6-MT also at this dealership, I didn't buy it because it had also been repainted, but in a month's time I did find a super clean, never repainted 05 V6 6MT, bought it without driving it and could not be happier so far.

There are a lot of good info on this site, especially the similarity of certain components of the CL to the 7Gen Accord, so thanks for allowing me to tap into the wealth of info from you folks.
