I got mine tensioner serviced on Monday when I went into John Eagle Acura for an unrelated problem. Man what a difference! My car feels more powerful now and the revs are louder. The timing belt must have been real loose before I went in at 27k.

I just got my official notice from Acura. But I already had the tensioner replaced a couple of months ago for my last car's service.

do you think that not fixing the tensioner can cause the valve to bend bc acura is saying that i have to replace the engine, and bc the engine shows bent valves, it is my fault.
