Temperature reading incorrect
I've only had my car for a month or so and every time I look at the outside temp reading, it seems to be off by about 5-10 degrees (always higher than it actually is outside)... I know you should be going over 25 MPH or something like that but it still takes about 5 minutes to adjust at a high speed and it still seems wrong.
Anyone have this problem? Any ideas?
Thanks,
-Ash

Mine read 104 when it hit 90 last week... The sensor must be in a bad location..

Strange... I've found that the one in my TL is very accurate.
At any rate, there's a way to adjust it: With the car on press and hold the SELECT and RESET buttons. After 10 seconds the temp display will start to go though a cycle of 1, 2, 3, 0, -1, -2, -3. These represent correction factors. Just let the buttons go when you get the number you want. If it needs further adjustment, just repeat until you get the reading you believe is correct.

I think the problem is with the sensor location (front grill - close to the radiator) I personally haven't seen too many cars with accurate temp sensors.
