The corse we run is AutoX/Road Race...a bit more speed than your typical "cones in a parking" lot setup...We top out 2nd gear on it (45-50 mph). Believe it or not, the Swift and Metro are awesome in the turns. We got em so stiff on the anti-sway that we yank the inside tires pretty easy.

I got a few more mods to do on it, but my Mustang buddies give me a hard time. All I know is I yanked a boneyard Sway bar from a GTi Swift for $15 and we fashioned brakets and welded i in. Much cheaper than doing shit to the Cobra.

funny...I thought about buying my friends Festiva when she was selling it... It had no AC, no windshielf wipers, and no heater...otherwise it was in working condition. Would've been a fun auto-x-er...

So have you thought about tig-welding the joints between the frame underneath the car? That would probably strengthen the body some more.

Have you ever come close to flipping it?

We're gonna try and figure out a way to do subframe connectors to tie front and rear. I had 4 people in the Swift going around the course last weekend and we got 2 wheels up and it "felt" like it could flip, but in reality, it was never that close.

Autometer already has a GTi DOHC motor to put in his and I am looking to acquire one as well. With a little head work, it should get to around 110whp, which will be pretty quick on a 1700 pound car.

wanna race your suzuki against my suzuki, todd?

(somehow I doubt it, since I've never been able to get you to run your vobra against the 'zook... )

on an autox course, you'd have a real shot against a big heavy beast like the rf.

but then again, I'd be more likely to break out the dr-z and go super-motard...

Yeah chief...your suzuki is certainly faster. Too bad my 1.3L doesn't equal the 1.3L liter in the 'busa

I do got a question. Where in town can i get ahold of some Sukuki racing merchandise like shirts and what not? Not Suzuki Cycles, but just Suzuki logos in general?

hate to say it, I'm not sure your 1300cc's equals the 645cc v-twin in the sv650... :P

you might be able to find the red 's' logo on stuff in the bike shops, but I think the vast majority will be cycle-related. the internet is probably your best bet.

how about a team suzuki key chain?
