Teach me to do a 360.

Well, from what I predicted. I think the steps were,

1st, hand break and steer hard right or left.

2nd, then shift into reverse while the car's doing 180.

3rd, release hand break and step on the break till the car rotates
to the front again.

4th, just right after you released hand break you shift back into drive gear,
then step on the gas pedal and take off again.

all these above are the steps I thought would be for a 360. anything I missed out ?

but all those are based on a car with better handling, steering and rear drive. I was wondering if we can do it on our car, especially our hand break is hardly a hand break.

any suggestions ? anybody wanna try this together in So.Cal ?

You can do a 360 in the CL-S. Trust me, it can be done and many of us who continue to drive 100+ mph are going to find out how, perhaps sooner than later.

You need to practice with a rental car before trying with the CL-S. The rental car should have a footbrake and be as close in weight as possible. The rest is physics.

Believe it or not, I think you can do it in neutral.

I doubt you can do it the dry though... the car is just made to understeer on just about anything.

I could do a 180 in my civic on a wet road using only the handbrake. It's much harder to do on dry pavement, especially with good tires. I think most cars will stall if you leave them in gear while doing a 360.

I had an Integra in college and did it by simply pulling up the hand brake. But I had a 5sp and pushed in the clutch too. I wouldn't try putting it in reverse. I'm with Bravo1 about doing it in neutral. If you got the cajones to do it let us know....
