TC slow to unlock at full stop

I think my torque converter is slow to unlock when I come to a stop. Several times, I have experienced what feels like the engine about to stall when I come to a stop. It reminds me of the feeling in a manual when you forget to clutch at a stoplight. I remember reading a thread about someone's CL stalling at a stoplight. Maybe their tranny is stalling it. Damn these slushboxes and torque coverters. Too much to go wrong.

I've noticed the same thing, though only when in sport shift mode. The kick down from 2nd to first seems a little slow to react. Never noticed it when in D5/D4 though.

Mine does it the other way It doesn't like to lock as quick as quick as used to now it goes pretty good and the slams you back I've looked at the tach and the gear (in ss) it isn't near 5.6k vtec or 4k 2 stage induction. Is there something wrong or is it normal?
