Taking it to the TRACK!

Guys,

I'm heading to the track to make some 1/8 mile 3/4 mile runs, what can I expect as for times? My car is a 2002 bone stock. Also, what can I do to maximize the performance while I'm there.....I know the usually things like turning VSA off, little gas in the tank....is there anything else? what about tire pressure?

Lower the tires at least 5 psi. Don't mash it off the line. Only shift to 3rd

Unless he's doing a 3/4 mile run. Then he'd better get into fourth! :P

I've never heard of a 1/8 mile and 3/4 mile run...I've only heard of 1/4 mile runs... is this some new trend?

use ss mode. 1/8th tank of gas(or less). drop front tire pressure to 28, max pressure in the rear. remove jack and spare.
