Taking off the Glove Box
I tried searching for this but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for. If I want to take the glove box completely off do I have to take off the lower panel surrounding the glove box? My guess is yes but if any of you guys have a Helm manual or some instructions on taking off the glove box, that would be great! Thanks.

No you don't. You need to pop out the two side stops. Next remove the screw to the assist cylinder on the right side and remove that end of the cylinder from the box, (it's spring loaded). The box will then open far enough to expose the hinge screws.

no, all you have to do is release the dumper(part number 15) from the clip(part number 10_ and then remove the 2 arms(part number 9) from both sides of the glove boxm, then the glove box will fall down. you will see either 2 or 4 screws(part number 30) in the hinge(part number 11) that you need to unscrew and the glove box will come out

HA, sorry for not being more clear. I want to install a DIN size dvd player in the glove box and want to take the box off to make some kind of bracket to hold the player.
