I just got my headers. Where Acura dealership did you get the headers installed? How much was it? Will they approve warranty work?

I got mine done at Orland Park Acura, they charged me $225. They did a good job and will honor the Acura warranty if anything happens. If you can find another dealership that is closer to you that will match the price, I can provide you a copy of my receipt if you want it.

hahaha ok ok leave the kid alone. Anyways I really dont know how to explain the headers.. its hooks up to the engine, and it basicly is larger than stock so it lets more air though. I think its like a 20hp gain? It cost about a grand for it!! SO WORTH IT! I need a suga mama to buy me some. Do a search on headers... you will learn alot.

OK cars use combustion engines. Combustion engines burn gas...the burnt gas needs to get out...it leaves through the headers. The bigger they are the more gas gets out the less back pressure the better the engine works! It also makes it louder.

I decided to take the Headers For Dummies approach.

HUH?? Headers let air through??
All they are are the begining of the exhaust system that hooks up to your engine on one end and your catalytic on the other... Getting aftermarket headers (which are usually thicker and made of stainless steel, allows a better relief of backpressure...therefore resulting in an HP increase...
