Hey guys, this is generally for the people who don't have HID. I tried some Sylvania Silver Star Head light bulbs and man I was surprised how well they worked. They are not as good as HID but they look pretty close. They look very white compared to my bulbs that came with the car. When i brought it in the store this week, i figured wat the hell, 40 bucks at autozone and then a 10 rebate, let me give it a try. They are like 2x-3x brighter and very white looking. They are DOT and not really suppose to burn out often like the PIAAS. I also wanted to know if anybody else out there is using them. I so far only had them in for a short time and wanted to see if anybody had them longer and had problems. Thanks!!

i've had them for a couple of years now and i really like them. i have the high beams and they match well with the hids.

I've had mine a couple months. I hoped and thought they'd be whiter from all the comments (hype?). There's still a definite difference between the HID lowbeams and the Silverstar Hi-beams. One is white and one is still yellow. The stocks were yellower...but still not that impressed with them, sorry.
Are any other bulbs brighter white or is this it, for a halogen?
