I fully understand what "imo" means, but unless I'm stating a blatant fact like "drinking poison can be dangerous", it can only be my opinion.

Dude!!! I think someone had a fucking Jihad on your car. I'd scub that shit off before Bin Laden comes for you.
I once had a truck with pinstripping that also had the previous owners name on the door, so since my name wasnt the same I wanted it off. I took it to a local pinstripe shop to have it removed. The guy at the shop was really cool, he told me the secret to removing it myself,,, get some "off" oven cleaner, and some toothpaste, mix a bit of each together, dab a bit of this mixture with the eraser on a pencil and carefully go over the pinstripe you want removed. It worked .
I'm assuming this would only work on painted stripes, not tape stripes.

Its ridiculous that its actually a common practice for a painter to "sign" your car ---
I mean do they disclose their intention to the customer before hand?
I cant think of anyone who would actually want someones signature on their car...
I almost flipped a shit when a chevy dealer tried to put dealership decals on my girlfriends car! - He was actually insulted that i didnt want her to roll around with "joe schmoes chevy" on the back of the trunk, i told him if he wanted to give us a license plate frame thatd be fine (which we took off right when we got home). If someone painted their crap on my car i dont what id do...

Easy Off
Easy Off Oven Cleaner definitely works. I had a 89 XR7 that a state tropper had originally purchased for his wife. It had double red and silver stick on pinstripe. I am not a fan of pinstripes so I removed it to find a PINK painted pinstripe hidden underneath!!! After trying solvent and a heat gun and doing only one fender after an hour, I tried the Easy Off recomended by a fellow detailer. Worked great with mininmal solvent and a few cotton rags. This was on a black car too.
I can't find the link with the method i used to remove the sword logo but i know it involved Easy Off and worked pretty well.
I don't know if i'd be comfortable spraying oven cleaner all over the rest of my car to remove the pinstripes, but we'll see.
