Swapping Throttle Body and Intake Manifold from Another CL?
I want to send out my throttle body and intake manfold to get ported. The only problem is that I drive my car everyday. I need it. I was going to pick up the parts via junkyard from a used CL and send those down to get ported. Then just swap out the parts when I get them back. Anyone think this might set off codes or cause problems?

As long as the sensors fit correctly and you have no leaks, you should be fine. Make sure when you take the TB off to scrape all the old gasket pieces off and sand it real fine so its nice and even. Also get a new TB gasket, it should work fine. Also, post results when you install the ported TB.

I have a Type-S manifold that I'm about to put on my car. If you want, you can borrow it. Plus if you find a decent Type-S throttle body, I would buy it off you when your done with it.
And as long as everything is hooked up to where its supposed to go, you should not have any codes come up.
