Swapping rear springs, should i have any problems?

I have Comptech Sport springs and i don't like how the back sits. i wanted it lower so i talked to Jake from the board and he said he would like to swap since he wants the comptech rears. I believe the H&R's are about a 1/2" more drop. Should i have any problems riding with front Comptech and rear H&R's? They are getting put on tomorrow. Thanks.

H&R OE rears are 1.25", Sports are 1.75"

So unless your swapping for OE's, your a$$ will be lower than the front. Comptech fronts are 1.5".

Comptech fronts, and H&R OE rears would be perfect. 1.5" front, 1.25" rear. That would look great. Ride quality might suffer a bit with the different spring rates, but shouldn't be all that bad.

Anyone else on this? Bueller?

here's the deal...I've been brokering this set up for a year now...the spring rates are almost identicle...10% stiffer than stock and the O.E.'s are about 1.4 when mounted fully in the staggered perch...both of you will be so happy one guy get 1.0/1.0 the other 1.5/1.4 sweet ,sweet,sweet...BTW just got the comp headers installed feels like being shot out of a cannon

I WANT PICS FROM BOTH OF YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got H&R OEs and I've driven a CL-S that had Comptechs. I don't think there's much difference at all in the spring rates between the two. I agree with typeR, I think the swap will work out well for both involved.

Good to hear that the install went successfully. Nothing beats doing it yourself.

It's 55 there in FL now? That would be nice. It's mid 90’s here right now...
