Survived Flood - need advise

Hello friends, was caught by a flood while driving to work. Was not able to avoid it. Impossible to back-up nor pull aside; only option was to keep driving (as I saw many cars breaking down and going under water). Water was almost reaching hood (this was last Tuesday November 8), was lucky to reach the office with car running. Good thing I do not have Cold Air Intake and suspension not lowered - everything stock.
Is there anything in particular that I should do to avoid a future damage caused by the water? Was planning to change tranny fluid (5AT) with next oil change, but it is not due yet... should I do that right away? Is there any where I should look to check for presence of water? Car is running fine, no weird lights or noises or smells after that. I can tell you something: everybody was impressed that I was able to make it through, this car is good!, saw all kind of cars broken down as I was sailing to work. Now worried of a problem that I might not be aware of. Sorry for the long story and thanks in advance!

That sucks. Check the intake tube and see if there was any moisture in it (although its probably gone by now since it was a week ago). Id pull the spark plugs out, spray some WD40 in the cylinders, and let it air out a bit. I doubt there is still water in there but you never know.

If its running good and no check engine lights, then everything should be good. Just change your oil and transmission fluid out on regular schedule. I'd check the air filter to see if it's wet though, if it is, buy a new one. Also check your lights.

Exclamation

sell sell sell!
I had my old accord (j30) 6 months after a flash flood, it was under water (to the mirrors) for about 2 minutes total. Car was not running at the time of the flood and it ran fine after I changed the crank sensor. Car ran great for about 5 months and then things started going crazy, the air bags even deployed upon starting the car on a normal day while i was sitting in it. Not saying to sell asap but just letting you know what is possible down the road, trust me I though I had gotten lucky also.

That would scare that shit out of me if the airbags suddenly deployed for no reason.

I've been in a similar situation. Except I did have a cold air intake and it sucked up water. Engine bogged in the middle of a water filled road and it didnt start back up for a day. I did nothing for it besides empty the intake manifold from water and it still runs fine today. This all happened maybe 5 years ago. You should be good.
