Supercharger tips
1. You whp will be severly affected if the automatic transmission fluid is low. I just did the trans. cooler upgrade and was down by a quart of fluid. Car was "slow like turtle," for a couple of days.
2. Excess noise from the a/c belt engine pulley can be erradicated by spraying down the spring inside the idler with aerosol penetrating fluid. I used two straws inserted into eachother to help in directing the fluid to the gap between the pulley(between the tensioner arm and tensioner base). Don't get the lub. on the belt.
Happy motoring.

Actually I think you are supposed to check with the engine on and warm (IE idle for 10 mins), otherwise level will always appear wrong - at least that's what the manual to my last car said. Maybe acks are diff?

I'll double check the manual. Let's see, my manual says shut off engine, nothing about checking it with the engine on. Having been just a quart low was enough to dramatically degrade the acceleration of my car. I guess my car is very picky. When I installed the cooler I put the lines into a couple of empty coke cans to determine flow, guess I lost alot of fluid plus whatever the cooler required.
