Supercharger question

Supercharger question

im driving up to new york at the end of the month to pickup a comptech S/C. my question is i have a aftermarket crank pulley so will that be a problem if im installing the s/c?

From: Pacific Northwest, blah.
You can go with the stock size UR crank pulley. That WILL work. But any undersized crank pulley will have to be taken off.

is there a performance difference between the stock size and the underdrive crank pulley?

Not a huge difference. The UR drive pulley will noticeably make those RPMs crank up pretty fast. I had the under drive on my old CL. It was night and day difference from the stock crank to the UR crank.

go stock, underdrive is a no no. Search on scalberts thread about the pulley, some good info there!

congrats on the s/c pick up! What boost pulley are you going to use? Regular or HBP?

it's not an underdrive pulley if it's oem sized. the benefit of the ur pulley will be lightened weight. meaning your revs will spool up a bit quicker. definitely a nice benefit, especially for those that are auto
