Can't be a better installer than the developer.

Usually but not absolutely. Some of the guys on this forum have done their own R&D and I think have come out with a better install. There have been problems with the installs that were discovered by end users - not the factory.

Problems that have been reported back to CT and thus corrected.

Do it yourself. The instructions are very well laid out. You will need a service manual though. Try this link. They provide service manuals for all makes and models for all auto makers.

Thanks for the info all - I wouldn't have a problem driving to El Dorado Hills for an install, but thought there may be better options. If the installation is a 'do it yourself' for a fair mechanic, I would not have a problem tackling the job.

It you have turned wrenches before then this would not be a problem. It is fairly straight forward just a bit time consuming.
