You need to have someone trail you to see if that bad boy belches any flame. Or, take it out at night and watch the rearview as you shift to see if their is a momentary orange glow! Congrats!

It really feels like the engine displacement was increased to nearly 4.0 liters. It pulls hard to redline, never letting up.

I used the one in the link, top left, on a 99 Civic Si.

Yes, the red bar bolted to the frame useing the tow hook mounting holes, and the arms mounted to an existing hole in the lower control arm with a new longer bolt. If you are going to fab something, a few things to watch for are, wheel clearance when turned all the way, binding during suspesion travel, and making sure the preload is the same on both sides and only the minimun amount of preload necessary to prevent wheel hop. If you make one set, make a few extra sets for your friends.

Steve...... you da man.... I remember all the stuff you did for the GP folks... nice to see you still at it... Please keep us informed of the traction bar... maybe we can petition Comptech to do this for us... I WANT ONE.. wish I had added it to the bottom line now when I bought the car

Once I get the springs on I'll try a few dry launches near the house and see how bad the wheel hop is. A crude prototype traction bar should be easy to make with items from Home Depot, but we shall see. The issue will be to make it easy to install and remove all while not binding the suspension.

Anyone got suggestion on how to get video of the speedometer and tach; remember this is not an automatic so I need both hands.
The only place I can find which might work is the coat hanger in the back. I could fashion a mount to this and zoom in a little (to avoid the back of my head) allowing me to get the speedometer, tach and the road ahead.

Ironic that Scalbert can install a supercharger etc. etc. etc. but has to ask for our lowly help on how to hang a camera in his car!

Can't wait to see those vids though.

Okay, you're gonna need a pencil sharpener, ducttape, and three trained weasels... then call MacGuyver. ![Chuckle](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/chuckle.gif)
Dude, get the wifey to lean over a little and hold a camera at the right position to get the dash and the road ahead of you. It's workable.

Many of the Porsche guys run in car cams in their track cars, but of course they have a roll cage to mount the camera too ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
You'll have to "MacGuyver" something together, probably using ducttape, c-clamps and/or large suction cups (suction cups are great for mounting object to glass).
Another option is to design some kind of harness that you wear that will position the camera on your chest pointing at the guage panel.
No matter how you look at it, the solution probably won't be pretty

i believe the best way and probably the safest way is to have someone sit in the back seat to film or if you have a small enough video cam you can mount it with duct tape between the steering wheel and guage cluster.
