Supercharger on CL-P

I tried searching but couldnt come up with anything. I know there was someone on here before that had the CT supercharger installed on a CL-p and was wonder what all he needed to make the fit. I am pretty sure it was something with the elbow but was wondering what the cost would be.

I believe you can use the supercharger for the accord or the type s but some mods would be needed. I would suggest calling comptech, I'm sure they can tell you exactly what needs to be changed, etc.

Just 4 the record... Comptech has never tryied to supercharge a cl-p and they have no idea if it would work or not... they really were no help at all. As far as me charging the cl-p it was a risk but in the end i finally got it to work. It was great.. but you prob will never see more than 4 lbs out of a cl-p.. i mean its not made 4 the car so wut would you expect ya know.. it was fun but if someone has the money to s/c a cl-p i would say not to do it.. It's just not worth the agrivation imo. But I will be more than happy to help anyone looking to make a beast out of a cl-p

Why can't you put the HBP on a CL-P to get more boost?

Yeah isn't the compression lower on the CLP than the CLS?

If you have the money for a supercharger kit for your CL-P, then you have the money to trade it in for a CLS-6. I doubt a blown CL-P would hit 13s, and given that CLS-6's hit low 14s stock, it's a better route to go.

Not sure how the dealer would react when you come in with a blown transmission, on a "blown" CL-P.

Just some food for though!

Thats a great point.. which is why im now driving a 6 speed.. i can honestly say that the 6 speed feels almost as fast as my charged cl-p.. not as nice though lol It just had to be done so i did it.. and i lived and learned just take my advice and dont waist the money on charging a cl-p
