Although mysteriously it's not listed under In Development or What's New.

yah and accord has it although accord (J30A Engines) and tl and cl are basically using the same engine and it will be avaiable soon for J32A1 (TL and CL) and J32A2 (Type S Model) engines
but the supercharger is not cheap lol

They had a dyno for the 3.0 accord. But we never saw a dyno on the Type S.

It will set you back about $4500 for ~60-75 hp

It would be cheaper to get.
1. CAI (~10hp) ($250)
2. Headers (~25hp) ($1300)
3. Pullys (~15hp) ($300)

total cost $1850 for a good 50hp...

just a thought.

Try a search for Supercharger... I guarantee you'll get a lot of results

Samer007 - one thing you have to remember is that mods are not necessarily cumulative. Adding those 3 items may not give you 50hp over stock. After adding headers at say 30whp, the intake may only give you a 3whp gain over that, whereas someone who adds just the intake may see 8whp.

I'm convinced that the red car with the supercharger is just a prop.......it probably doesn't even run

Mods aren't additive like that, adding multiple things doesn't just arithmetically add all the gains that you get over stock... It really annoys me when people do that, especially if the mods modify the torque curve in different places. Headers only increase the very top end (5000+ rpm) and shift the peak hp to the redline, whereas pulleys only have much more effect on the bottom end; the result could be still only +25hp at the redline.

Furthermore, you included install cost in supercharger price but not in the other costs.... You could definitely do CAI yourself, and maybe even headers, but pulley install is pretty doubtful if you're including crank pulley in the list, unless you're a hardcore engine rebuilder racer.

Kkranghkar,

You are correct, but really it would be nice to see a dyno with CAI/Headers/URpullies that shows 210lbft or more of torque all the way from 3500 to 6500. This is a much faster car than a CLS Auto with a peak 235 WHP at only the top end...

CAI would help all across some 5-10 lbfts
Pullleys would help all across some 10-15 lbfts
Headers would keep the torque above 5500 rpm to 175 lbt

So, seeing a Torque of 200 lbft at 6500 rpm out of 5 Auto is not that bad!
