Okay, as promised.. Just got off the phone with the Dealership and the Factory Warranty guy of Acura (he visits from time to time) and I was lucky he was there today.... I still got one call into the Service Department. Salesman spoke with the Factory Warranty guy and they both made a call into the home division of ACURA. Here goes------>. THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY IS IF YOU DO INTERNAL MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR MOTOR OR TRANNY. NO AND HE STATED "NO BOLT ON APPLICATIONS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY UNLESS THEY ARE INTERNALS.as god as my witness, I will strike this guy down and bury him alive if he lies to me... I am trying to get them to put this in writting and I might be holding my breath for that one, but I am gonna make sure all the bases are covered before buying the SC. He said it would be a good idea to speak with your head of Service department guy and explain what you want to do. The reason why they will not jump to put it in writing is because it is like giving you a free ticket to beat the car to death and when it breaks, they fit the bill... So I will keep the thread alive with more info as i get it... Before it is all over fellows I will have this in writting and signed by one of these guys.

Haha yeah you get that in writing and then take a nice high quality picture of it and post it here so we can all print that out and use it if any of our dealerships hassles us about our mods.

Just got my car back from the dealer an hour ago, they said putting it on isn't an issue, and that it shouldn't void the warranty

But he doesn't reccommend doing it since he admits to the tranny issues we have in the cars. He said it was due to bearings that are failing.

I might even go for the SC...but I sure would feel better having a piece of paper that says the warrantee still holds up. I paid alot of money for the extended warrantee.

Does the warranty cover if you upgrade the pulley? No. Comptech will probably not warranty it either if you do the upgraded pulley. I know they wont on the NSX if you get the upgraded pulley.

Group Buy? You guys know I will have the best price around on anything Comptech. :P I can assure you that you will not find it for less from anyone else.

Goby202---ComptechUSA is developing the supercharger and it will be out in November, hopefully sooner. I have been bugging them like you would not believe.

No, I don’t think I want to put the S-Charger on this car.
Mine is as fast as I want it to be right now.
You really need to race your car often to justify a 3,000+ modification.

And I just got the credit card bill for the Headers yesterday.

PS.... To all you guys considering this, be sure to get written verification from YOUR dealer before you assume the warranty will be OK.
It’s still a judgement call on the service managers shoulders if you ever come in with a smoking motor on the back of a tow truck.
