Any of u guys experience the same problem when our moonroof is open. I get a waffling sound that kills my ears when the windows are closed. Is this bc our moonroofs open 80% only?

That's a very known problem You could buy the sunroof deflector...but that would give you about a 4 inch opening in the roof.

most cars do this when the windows are closed and the sunroof is open. my volvo s80 does it and my buddy's 04' A4 does it.

I've tried it in different positions, it doesn't help, get the deflector and shave off 2" from it.

Has anyone shaved 2 inches off their deflector? I thought about doing this also.

Or does anyone make a smaller deflector?

I hate their only being a 6 inch sun roof once the deflector is on.

What is the cost of one? If someone wants to do it I will buy it, and I would have someone else do the install cause I would probably mess it up.

didnt acura look into this moonroof problem? you would think a 30k car would have better aerodynamics, oh well, i guess i got to live with the sound. Thanks guys

toast a waffle and and start a motion like a handheld fan and youll get that wowowowowo sound

A visor would work, maybe just a small lip in front of the moon roof would help as well? I would think something to lift the air enough not to come into the car as much would help.

In Audis and VWs I used to lock the rear windows, drive 60mph, then open the rear windows, scares the living crap outta passengers, and NO CONTROL over the windows. Same effect as the sunroof thing. Hurts the ears but it's funny. Sounds like a Toaster Waffle Jumbo Jet.... LOL. I'm evil

LOL I used to do that in my maxima to my friends except in the max it was 10x worse then out cl's

As someone else said in this thread or another it is because our moonroof goes inside the body and there is only so much room for it to go.
