Have anyone of you noticed that the lining along the edge of the sunroof cutout keeps unglueing and falling off? Is there a permanent fix? I've had it fixed once under warranty. Also, where is the sunroof rattle coming from?

 

I have an 03 CL-S and I think I know what you are talking about. Are you talking about the plastic (black) trim that is on the front section of the sun roof area. My lining is not falling off but I know that's where the rattle is coming from.

When I have the sun roof closed and the sun shade open, I get a rattle.

When I have the sun roof closed and the sun shade closed, no rattle (it might be that the shade is dampening the rattle.

When I have the sun roof open (even just an inch or so), the rattle goes away.

It must be the sun roof (in the closed position) is hitting that black plastic housing and making it rattle.

I'm trying to find other posts to see if there's an easy fix (to the rattle (not the lining falling off).
